Besides affecting performance, incorrect use leads to partial or total loss of safety. Any operation (repair or replacement) of any support or movement component (hardware) must be performed by personnel able to assure continued compliance with safety requirements.
Particular care should be paid to the following situations:

WARNING:
• Avoid bearing excessive weight on the sash and pushing it hard against the wall.
• Danger of crushing between sash and frame: avoid inserting objects and pay attention to hand position when closing the frame.
• Do not lean out during opening and closing operations. Danger of fall.
• In order to obtain perfect closure of a window or French door sash, draw the sash near the fixed frame before turning the handle downwards; this will ensure precise operation of all closing points along the whole frame, as well as reducing the effort required to the minimum.
• Avoid bearing your weight against sashes or loading it with heavy objects, in particular when the sashes are open, as this might lead to irregular operation and early deterioration of the mechanical parts which provide support and movement.
• If a sash moves with difficulty, try to eliminate the causes rather than forcing it to obtain the desired movement; otherwise contact a specialist.
• In general, avoid impact with surfaces or objects, proximity to heat sources, sudden slamming due to drafts, prolonged contact with liquids. As regards cleaning and maintenance please refer to the following sections
• Ensure that shutters are blocked in one of the following positions:
a: open shutters blocked with stopper
b: closed shutters blocked from the inside
c: ajar shutters blocked from the inside
d: avoid to leave the shutters unblocked: possible wind gusts could damage the shutters, provoke their deformation or cause accidents.
DISPOSAL
At the end of its life cycle the components of each product must be separated (wood, glass, metal, rubber etc.) and disposed of in the suitable centres for solid urban waste collection; the local authority must be contacted for this purpose.
The product or its components should not be discarded in the environment.
For no reason should wooden parts be used as fuel; the presence of glues and paints would cause the dispersal in the environment of potentially noxious substances.
