The original core of the company was established in 1910, from a building and carpentry activity, but from 1940 Panto already started to produce rolling shutters and deal in joinery. This choice allowed the company to become rapidly a leading firm in the frame manufacturing sector not only in Italy, but all over the world.

In the 1970s, Panto's activities further extended, and the firm took part in the main Italian and international trade fairs, in order to promote its innovative products, manufactured with up-to-date technological systems and built to pass the toughest of tests. 

From 1980, Panto began to manufacture made-to-measure products on an industrial scale, which are then sold in Panto’s stores. These unique goods characterized by high quality and a refined design have been thought to satisfy each costumer's requirements.

In 1990, Panto 2 was established in order to transfer the experience worked out in the door and window frame sector to garden furniture production. Tables, chairs, deckchairs, barbecues and many other outdoor products characterized by the high quality of materials and the refined style which are Panto's trademark.

From 2000, Panto group has been owning several hundred stores located throughout Italy and abroad, whose number is growing constantly.
